“ Great service from Yenessa. She was very attentive and helpful. She asked if we needed help and extra support. She also put our Togo bag together. ”
“ Great prices, fast friendly service and amazing traditional Italian food. Our go to spot for family dinners. ”
“ A true San Diego staple, Filippi's in Little Italy was one of the first places I ate at when I moved here well over a decade ago. I had the meatball sub and continued to crave it (and order more of them) for several weeks after. Every once in a while I return to the meatball sub for nostalgia, and it's always just as delicious as I remember. Lately, though, we've been ordering their pizza. We like to rotate pizza places, but we keep coming back to Filippi's. I love their supreme topped with tons of fresh ingredients and the BEST crust. Seriously, the heft of a single slice is impressive. Also, sometimes I get a salad as part of the go-to order, and they are generous with their serving. The Caesar has lots of shaved parm, croutons, and crisp greens with a good amount of dressing on the side. It's been a while since I've dined in, but this location is part of a big parking lot so should be pretty easy to snag a spot if you can avoid getting tangled in the Starbucks/In-N-Out line. Actually, now that I'm writing this review, maybe I should have pizza for dinner... ”
“ Our servers Laurie & team were super busy for a Tuesday however they & cooks performed perfectly! Thank you ”
“ Lori our waitress was very attentive to our birthday party for our good friend. She was friendly, smiling, and great personality. The food was good, big portions and the atmosphere was cozy old school italian. ”
“ The must stop for us every visit to San Diego large portions and always friendly staff basic menu but unlimited flavor always busy and always delicious thanks Felippis ”
“ Honestly love this place so much and am so glad it is so close to where I live. Is it the most authentic Italian you can get, no, but I still love it (so does my friend I always come with) and we will continue to support. Great portions and good flavors. The cheese pull on the cheese pizza here is one of dreams for sure (see pic). They revamped the flavors on the complimentary bread they give you and it's delicious. Staff is always so friendly and attentive. Lots of space and seating here. Only complaint for me is they use Pepsi products which I'm not a fan of (taste wise) but that's definitely nothing to keep me from coming back haha Also do wish the marinara on the spaghetti stuck to the noodles just a little better. Flavors are good though on the sauce! ”
“ I want to give a special THANK YOU, to FILIPPI'S PIZZA GROTTO MISSION VALLEY!!! We were celebrating our TWELFTH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY, and today we chose to have pizza, lasagna, and salad TO GO. We went to the Safari Park in the morning, and came home and watched a new movie. THEN, I called to place my order. I have to say that the woman who answered the phone, was very nice and listened to exactly what we wanted. ESPECIALLY EXTRA SAUCE!!! We had a nice LUNCH/DINNER at home, with a nice CHARDONNAY!!! We then turned on another new movie!!! WELL DONE MISSION VALLEY, not the closest FILIPPI'S PG, but it is definitely the best in San Diego!!! ”
